STAGE LIGHTING

The 6" Fresnel is the basic workhorse soft edge beam fixture typically used behind the theatre proscenium where it's ease of blending is most useful. It's also a great fixture for television, film, or video lighting when fitted with a 6-BD-4 four way barn door kit. It produces a beam adjustable from about four to twenty-one feet in diameter at fifteen feet with the hand crank adjustment control. It can be fitted with either a 500 watt BTL or 750 watt BTN medium prefocus lamp and has a standard 2P+G stage pin connector. We provide a 6-CF color frame with your selection of color media. For spill management we have 6-SN fixture snoots if needed. For stage applications, the fixture will be equipped with a 510 pipe clamp for batten pipe. For television, film, or video applications, we provide a TVMP adaptor to fit standard "C" stands and gaff mounts. Dimensions: 14 1/4" high, 8 1/2" wide, and 10 1/4" deep. It's also a great fixture for television, film, or video lighting when fitted with 8-BD-4 four way barndoors. It produces a beam adjustable from about six to twenty five feet in diameter at thirty feet with the hand crank adjustment control. It is fitted with a 1000 watt BVT mogul pre-focus lamp and has a standard 2P+G stage pin connector. We provide a 8-CF color frame with your selection of color media. We have both 8-SN snoots and half hats for spill management when needed. For stage applications, the fixture will be equipped with a 510 pipe clamp for batten pipe. The Ground Cyc is multi-lamp, compartmented border light fixture designed to provide an even wash of light on cycloramas, primarily from a groundrow position but also inverted from the sky position. We have the three cell version which can be fitted with red, blue, and green color media to function as conventional borderlights as well. Each GC-3 compartment can be fitted with a 500 watt FCL, 750 watt EJG, or 1000 watt FCM lamp. Each fixture has three male and three female standard 2P+G stage pin connectors, one pair per compartment. We provide three GC-CF color frames with your selection of color media. The fixture will be equipped with a pair of FT trunions for groundrow use and a pair of FT trunions fitted with a pair of 510 pipe clamp for batten pipe when used overhead as sky cycs. Beam characteristics depend on the selected lamp as shown in the chart below which gives the foot candles (FC), vertical and horizontal diameter at various distances. A PAR64 fixture can be fitted with a 1000 watt very narrow spot, narrow spot, medium flood or wide flood mogul end prong lamps. The fixture is equiped with a standard 2P+G stage pin connector. We provide a 8-CF color frame with your selection of color media. For spill management, we have both full and half hats when needed. Fixtures can be provided with 510 clamps for batten pipe mounting, half couplers for truss mounting, clustered on four fixture bars, or clustered on four fixture socopex PAR Bars. Pin spots are great accent lights and feature a long throw with a very tight white beam. Our pin spots are 35 watts and are fitted with GE 4515 screw terminal seal beam lamps. We stock a variety of mounting clamps to attach them lots of ways. They can also be mounted on tee bars in groups of eight which we've used for jewelry shows and other product accent lighting. The Strand CD-80 is a workhorse dimmer pack that is super reliable, ultra portable and packs a lot of power in a small package. Featuring a dozen 2.4 kilowatt dimmers with dual stage pin out connectors for each channel. Our packs have been upgraded to DMX control for full compatability with modern control desks. Power input is 100 amps, single phase, 220 volts AC using standard camlocs.

We also have a larger tour system with 36 2.4kw dimmers.

Strand CD-80

The NSI 2600 dimming system is great for smaller venues and features compact batten or truss mounted four channel dimmer packs remotely mounted in the rigging thus eliminating the need for lots of cabling. Featuring four 1.2 kilowatt dimmers with dual female NEMA 5-15R connectors for each channel. Our packs have been upgraded to DMX control for full compatability with modern control desks. Power input is two 20 amp, single phase, 120 volts AC using standard male 2P+G stage pin connectors. These are most commonly packaged with our PAR56 fixtures as they work very well together.

Leviton-NSI N600P-D20

Socapex multicables provide a fast and clean way to run power circuits from the dimmer racks or distro to the fixture locations. Each cable carries four to six circuits, either 120 or 220 volt in either 14 gage (1000 watt) per circuit or 12 gage (2000 watts per circuit). We have Socapex PAR Bars or breakouts for the stage end, breakouts or direct connections to dimmers or distro at the racks. Additionally, SPS can provide non dimming distros for either six 120 volt AC circuits or six 220 volt AC circuits to provide power for truss mounted moving lights. Standard multicable length is 50 feet and we have even longer lengths of the four circuit 14 gage that work nicely with four fixture PAR Bars.

Socapex Multicables

Stage pin 2P+G cables provide a reliable way to run power circuits from the dimmer racks or distro to the fixture locations. Each cable carries one circuit, 120 volts AC in either 14 gage (1560 watts) or 12 gage (2400 watts). Standard cable length is 25', 50' and 75' feet. SPS carries a good inventory of twofers, threefers, breakout boxes, and adapters to and from NEMA 5-15 cables and fixtures. We also carry 6 gage (6000 watts) feeder cables for power distribution as well.

NEMA 5-15 cables are for light duty, low wattage fixtures. Each cable carries one circuit, 120 volts AC either 16 gage (1200 watts/10 amps), 14 gage (1560 watts/13 amps), or 12 gage (2160 watts/18 amps). Standard cable length is 6, 12 and 25 feet. This you will recognize as the standard wall receptacle configuration. These ratings are recommended maximums for stage lighting purposes.

NEMA 5-15P/5-15C (120 volts/15 amp configuration)

Camloc cables are used for high current feeders to dimmer packs and distros. Each cable carries one feeder circuit, 220 volts AC, 2 gage (36,000 watts). Standard cable length is 100 feet and comes color coded black, red, and blue for phases, white for neutral, and green for ground. We also have Camloc distros and snakebite adaptors (to stagepin).
